It is today, I see. It was actually well into today when I went to bed, so yesterday is just a distant memory. I can't remember if I did the above drawing yesterday or today as the two days kind of blended together. I don't remember what time it was when I worked on it. I'm tempted to say that it is today's drawing and I think I am correct in assuming that. I did do a drawing yesterday, but I don't think I'll be posting that. It was a portrait that went awry. Anyway, I have been wanting to get back into thinking about my book idea, so I decided to do a sketch of the little rhino in pink galoshes. I haven't drawn her in awhile. As you can see, there is a subtle bit of color, so I will say I am taking baby steps towards doing something in color. Part of me not working in color is sheer laziness. It's so much easier to just pick up a pencil and get started. When I work in color, I need to gather tools and if paint is involved, there is a mess to clean up. Woe is the lazy me...
Today I am going out with two friends. The idea was to go to a museum, but one friend says that she really doesn't want to walk around, so maybe I could talk them both into a movie and then food. I'm game for any of it. I really need to go out and do something.
