Today we have a big retirement party at the library. It hurts losing someone else, but I'm very happy for her. We were supposed to make a memory card for her. Above is the front of mine. I have memories on the back, but wanted to include something for her to remember me by as well... Self-indulgent? I don't know...
I am hoping that this precipitation is going to stay as rain for awhile. The longer it rains, the better. I have not looked at the forecast for today yet. I suppose I should... Yes, I am talking about the weather. I seem to not have much else to talk about today. I'm feeling a bit reserved. Soon, I'll be in transit, I suppose. Ha, a bit of library humor... I must find some humor in libraries, however bad the humor may be.

What a pretty memory card. I'm sure she will appreciate it and think of you often.
Prissy mentioned the retirement party and how she was going to miss her friend who had worked at the brary as long as her. Sad to see someone else go but I'm sure you are happy for her. She also said there was a lot of good food. ;-)
