Well, hopefully... It really has been a long time and unlike the t.v. shows, I didn't even feature re-runs. But then again, are t.v. shows even run again anymore? Don't they just fill the summer hours with inane reality t.v.? I was looking at my blog and saw that I took a much briefer break last summer, but returned right around this time as well. I haven't been drawing much at all, but did this sketch last night. It was a quickie from the weekend drawing event photos selection. I don't have much to say, actually. I have to get back into the groove gradually, I think...

So glad to see you posting again. I didn't receive a notice that you had put a new post up on your blog though. I was looking at Joan's latest post and then decided to check yours out and there it was! Oops, as I'm typing this, I just got the notice so all is well in blog land. I really like your latest drawing. When Diane, Joan and I were at the State Fair we went through the Art Bldg. and mentioned how hard it must be to sketch in charcoal and your name was brought up. I'm proud to know such a fine artist! We have to get together again for coffee.
woo hoo. glad Anne is back to the blog. And Jane posted too and me. Now we just need a post from Diane and we'll be back to bloggin!
Facebook is fun, but I really heart the way blogs provide a chance for a bit longer postings.
